A little bit about me

Hey! I’m Ximena and I’m from Colombia, living in the states since 2003. I’m a mother or two beautiful and very independent teenagers. I’d love to make some extra money helping families from the area with their kids, my little ones are not than little anymore. I’m a very proud mom, I spend a big part of my time with my girls, I enjoy taking my daughters to new places, road trips are definitely something we enjoy doing together. I love kids and I love to be involved with their education process, taking them to libraries, playgrounds, etc. I strongly believe that teaching them about cultures, nature, music are great ways to contribute with their development. Infance is one of the most beautiful and important stages in the life of a human being and for that we need our children happy and healthy. I love pets too, I have two beautiful dogs that are my little babies. In general I’m a very social person and a happy one, that always try to be positive no matter what the circumstances are.

The most relevant experience has been raising my own beautiful daughters, that thanks God, I got to be part of every single moment of their lives, dedicated full time to them and their lives. I know I’ve been a very fortunate woman because of that, not too many parents have that opportunity. Being part of the lives of my friend’s children is also an important experience for me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

What I enjoy to do with children, depends entirely of the age. Activities at home for newborns and all the stimulation they need for development. I like to read them, singing to them, taking them for a walk, etc. for toddlers, you get to be more creative, playgrounds, libraries, handcraft activities, taking them to museums, helping with language development, I also enjoy teaching them Spanish.
