The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and loving environment where children feel supported to grow and thrive. It’s about building trust with both the child and their family while being dependable and adaptable to their unique needs. For me, being a nanny is not just about supervising; it’s about fostering creativity, encouraging learning, and forming a genuine connection with the child to help them feel secure and happy.

One of my favorite babysitting moments was helping my sister’s twins learn how to share during playtime. They were having trouble taking turns with a favorite toy, so I turned it into a fun game where they passed it back and forth while I cheered them on. By the end of the day, they were laughing and happily sharing without needing my help. It was so rewarding to see how small efforts can make a big difference in teaching important skills.
