Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Dress up as well as playing whatever game or activity they want to do. But my favorite activities are when we dress up and watch movies to calm everyone down a bit. Or as a reward for a long day of the kiddos putting up with me haha.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The safety of the kids obviously but I also thing the most important thing is to not be a bad babysitter and make the kids feel unloved or appreciated. I hate when people do that.
My experience with special needs children...
I dont have much experience with kids with special needs but during high school I had always talked to a few of the kids throughout the day. They had struggles communicating but they would always make sure to stop me and talk to me for a moment before going to class. I wish I had more experience though. In my opinion they need more love from society.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is when we all sit down and relax for a moment while they have been playing so hard throughout the day. I love seeing them so happy after certain things we have done. I also love seeing the excitement kids get when I have first arrived to babysit and they are so excited to see me and play games with me.
