A little bit about me

I’ve been a nanny for over 5 (almost 6!) years now and i honestly wish, i would’ve started sooner. I’ve always been drawn to the littles for as long as i could remember. I was always the kid that chose to be the “mom” when it came to playing house(lol). I love seeing the littles experience things for the first time because it honestly feels like you are also experiencing it too. I believe kids are the smartest, yet honest souls on this planet. With the families I’ve worked with, i believe it’s important to integrate positive mantras in the morning and throughout the day so I’ll always tell my littles that they are smart, they are kind, and they are beautiful. I also like to incorporate a bit of my culture with my littles, whether it be through music, books, or even through conversation, i love being able to embrace my culture with them!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have done an after school program with the boys and girls club (Kindergarten) and Summer school program as well which i both enjoyed very much.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts especially being able to incorporate nature with art as well such as collecting leaves during the fall time or flowers during the spring time. I also love having dance parties (freeze dance is top tier in my playtime book lol) I also love being able to go on walks and pointing out everything with them, and often times with my older kiddos, i have taken them on picnics (backyards & parks) and we have lunch, i pack books, toys and play some music and we just chill and have a good time. Kids absorb so much more when they’re out experiencing the world!

Is being able to be a child’s safe space as they are experiencing the world for the first time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was telling my littles from a recent family (twins) a positive mantra since i started with them (18 months): “you are smart, you are kind and you are beautiful” and because i would tell them this everyday, while getting them dressed, they have been able to recite it to me as they got older. As a nanny, I’ve really been so grateful that i get to leave a positive impact on these babies lives.
