I grew up playing sports, I love to play volleyball and soccer. I was on a swim and boxing team so I can have some fun with boys and girls, little bit of training fun. I also enjoy going on walks during the evening or bike rides. My indoor activities would range from coloring to board games or even listening to music and dancing.

I would say it’s creating bonds and feeling safe and comfortable. I know it’s difficult to introduce a new person to the home, so I like to make conversation and create comfort with the parent and the child. Trust is earned throughout time.

A memory I cherish was being outside with my two girls I was taking care of. It was a hot day so we came up with the idea to have a water balloon fight. They had never did anything like that before and were iffy about getting wet. I threw the first ballon and it went on from there, the amount of fun and laughter we had for hours chasing each other around, we were soaked at the end but had an amazing time.
