I have been a nanny for a little under a year now, working with a local family with two toddlers. I have volunteered in the YMCA daycare for newborns and toddlers with my mother, I have a little cousin who I watched for many years, and I tend to take care of the children at any event or gathering that occurs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I typically leave it up to the children to decide what activity we are going to do unless it presents some sort of threat or danger to them. If that occurs, I will redirect them to a show, game we were previously playing, or some sort of outdoor activity if the weather allows. Personally, however, I love dance parties and crafts.
