A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Maris Turpin, and I am 22 years old. I recently graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I have always enjoyed working with children and helping them learn, grow, and build confidence.

For the past three years, I have worked as a nanny, caring for children of different ages and supporting families with their daily routines. My responsibilities have included preparing meals, helping with homework, driving children to activities, planning engaging games and crafts, maintaining schedules, and creating a safe, positive environment. Through these experiences, I have developed strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

In addition to nannying, I have gained valuable experience through tutoring, classroom placements, and student teaching. I am dependable, patient, and caring, and I strive to create a fun, supportive atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged every day. I love being active! :)
