I am a former Cobb County French/Reading/Study Skills/ESOL teacher. I have worked with several families as a nanny and have thoroughly enjoyed this work. I am mom to 2 grown successful and kind children, I love learning, teaching, being outdoors, helping to support others. My goal is to nurture young minds in the direction of learning how the world around us works. I encourage young minds by highlighting and questioning their ideas through everyday activities, through play, movement, reading, artistic and scientific activities. I provide a safe and loving environment. I provide boundaries to encourage children to follow expectations and understand consequences. I work with parents to clearly follow their guidelines. I have worked with several families, mostly babies, but also families with children up to age 10. Additionally, I worked in the Cobb County School system with children K-12.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

We go outside: nature walks, walks around the neighborhood, bike riding, water play, enjoying the playground. I enjoy taking them to the library, to museums, the Zoo, the play dates, etc. At home we read, we build (legos, magnates, etc), We practice sporting activities, throwing the ball, balance. Cooking activities. I love learning, and I encourage young minds to embrace different (safe) challenges to help them build independence and self-esteem. I love to laugh and find joy in small moments and help children to observe and ask questions.
