I enjoy doing art with kids, playing with them with their favorite toys, cooking since I've taught cooking to kids, doing puzzles and reading!
I also love taking kids on nature walks, building sand castles or kicking a soccer ball with them or playing catch. I also love swimming and bodysurfing with kids since I teach swim and surfing to kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part for being a nanny for me is that I am entrusted by the primary caregivers to be aware of the safety and well being of little humans at all times. It's important for me to provide parents with early childhood expertise that I have since I've been a teacher and professional childcare provider. I also think the most important part of my job is to prepare children for preschool and to learn good boundaries and communication.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD, ADHD, insomnia, PICA and Sensory Processing Disorder. I have also worked with children who have social anxiety and behavioral challenges and help them with self regulation and conflict resolution.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have had so many funny moments. When I taught Capoeira, a Brazilian martial arts, my young preschool students and I would do our kicks training and they would fall down laughing and so would I. It took the seriousness out of what is a serious sport and because we built rapport through humor
The most sweet and precious moment I've had is when I was hired to take care of two children. When I read the two year old his first story he asked if he could sit on my lap and when I was reading the book he held my hand. This made me feel like he instinctively trusted me and was happy to hear the story we picked together.
