More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I TA my Junior and Senior year in high school. I Have babysat for a few main families for different time lengths. I have worked in a childcare facility for 2 years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
For indoor activities I focus on multi-media. I like to experiment with textures depending on the child. I find create/fun ideas that allow children to be in control of what they make. I also like to have children help me with cooking. Allowing them to measure and stir and learn cooking process to teach math, science, and engineering.
For outdoor activities a few of the things I do is taking children to a nearby already agreed upon park. Or simple activities done at home such as different sports, hopscotch, imaginative play, and teaching safety when outside.

My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for children with ADHD, ADD, ASD, childhood anxiety disorders and many different intellectual challenges.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was long-term babysitting for 2 children ages 3 and 11. The youngest girl was starting to lose a tooth towards the end of the parent’s trip. It was her first tooth that she was going to lose and she was very excited. Before her parents left the mom was worried that she would miss out on her last babies first visit from the tooth fairy. The day before they came back from their trip she lost her tooth. I quickly FaceTimed the parents so they could soak up the family moment and later on when the children went to bed I again FaceTimed the mom so she could sneak in with me and grab her tooth.
This moment will forever stay with me because not only was I able to help the mom and share this moment with her but when she got back from the trip she was so appreciative that I went above and beyond. I strive to go the extra mile to make sure each family feels well loved and cared for.
