A little bit about me

Hi I’m marissa and I’m 22. I have been caring for children since I was 14. At 14 I was working at an in home childcare as a daycare assistant until I was 18 and became a lead teacher at that time I was able to care for 8 children by myself from 6 weeks old to 12 years of age. I am familiar with food prep, bottle feeding, light housework and pets. Children are my passion and I love watching them learn and grow and experience the world. I love doing educational projects with the kids I work with such as; arts and crafts, science projects, math, reading, and sensory play. I’ve lived in Iowa most of my life but I’m originally from throgs neck in the Bronx. In the state of Iowa I have completed my mandatory reporter training along with 50 hours of classroom time. I would absolutely love to work with your children!
