Hi! My name is Marissa, and I am a student at Michigan State University studying Elementary Education (PreK–3) with an ESL endorsement. I have several years of childcare experience, including full-time nannying for an infant in Ann Arbor through toddlerhood, providing full-day care (meals, baths, naps, routines, and play). I also babysat a child for 3+ years from toddler to age 5, building a strong, consistent relationship.

I have several years of experience working with children of different ages and needs. I nannied full-time for an infant in Ann Arbor and cared for him as he grew into a toddler. In this role, I provided full-day care, including meal prep, diapering, baths, naps, playtime, and supporting early development and routines.I have also babysat for a child for over three years, from toddler age through age five, where I supported daily routines, prepared meals, and created engaging and consistent care.
In addition, I have experience working with children with special needs. I worked with Total Spectrum in Okemos, supporting a nonverbal 9-year-old autistic child. This helped me build strong patience, communication strategies, and individualized care skills. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have completed additional training required for working with children.
