I also enjoy problem-solving activities that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and independence.I love incorporating activities that teach children the importance of teamwork, communication, and cooperation, giving them opportunities to work together and learn from one another.Water play is always a fun way to enjoy the outdoors, especially on warm, sunny days. I also especially enjoy sensory activities, such as creating sensory bottles, sensory bags, and other hands-on experiences that allow children to explore different textures, colors, sounds, and materials.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a childcare provider, nanny, or babysitter is being present, dependable, and genuinely supportive. Children need someone they can trust to help them feel safe, happy, valued, and loved.
For me, providing childcare goes beyond simply meeting a child’s basic needs. It means being there to listen, encourage, comfort, guide, and support them throughout their day. I want every child in my care to know that they can count on me and feel comfortable being themselves.
My goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children feel cared for, supported, and confident while their parents have peace of mind knowing their child is in caring and dependable hands.

My experience with special needs children...

I have meaningful personal and professional experience caring for children with special needs. Growing up with a brother with special needs gave me the opportunity to develop patience, compassion, and a strong understanding of the importance of individualized care. From a young age, I helped with his daily care, including diaper changes, feeding, bathing, and other everyday activities.I have also gained professional experience working in a childcare center where several children with special needs were part of the classroom. This experience allowed me to learn more about supporting children with different abilities, developmental needs, and individual routines.I currently work at a facility that provides care and support for children with a variety of disabilities. I truly enjoy working with these children and helping them feel safe,comfortable,supported, and included. I find it rewarding to assist with their daily needs while encouraging their independence, development, and confidence

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite parts of babysitting is getting to know children beyond their everyday routines and learning more about who they are outside of school. I enjoy discovering their unique interests, hobbies, favorite activities, and even the special things they have at home, such as pets or animals they love.
I also truly appreciate building positive relationships with parents and families. It means a lot when parents are welcoming, respectful, and caring, and when they trust me to care for their children. Building that trust and becoming someone a family feels comfortable relying on is one of the most rewarding parts of providing childcare.
