The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing for me is being able to help kids to be confident in themselves and help them to be a good human.
I want the kids I nanny to know I will always treat them how I want to be treated. I teach body autonomy and emotional regulation so they can learn to be confident and the best they can be.
One thing that is very important to me is also that any child regardless of gender is allowed to play with any toy, wear any clothes, or have any interested despite how society categorizes it.

My experience with special needs children...
When working with the children at The Evergreen State College Daycare I gravitated a lot towards the kids with higher support needs despite my lack of traditional education in the subject.
I have type 1 Autism and have ADHD so I understand how their brains work and have a lot of empathy and patience with those kids. I have experience with type 1 and type 2 autism.
I am happy to work with any family to learn and adapt to meet their child’s needs.

When I heard a 14 month old say my name! He was just learning his words and started to mimic what we said and he said it perfectly!
