A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Marsha! I’m a 52-year-old experienced and dependable nanny with a genuine love for children. In addition to my professional childcare experience, I raised three sons of my own—a 27-year-old and 20-year-old twins. I have cared for children of all ages, from newborns through teenagers, and understand how to support each child’s unique personality, routine, and developmental needs.

I speak both English and Spanish and have experience providing overnight care while parents are away. I’m also available to travel with families when needed. I am CPR and First Aid certified, hold a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, and have a clean background and driving record.

Families can count on me to be patient, nurturing, responsible, and attentive. I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your children, and I would love the opportunity to provide your family with safe, loving, and dependable care.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for children in their family homes and while accompanying families on vacation. I also have extensive overnight and sole-charge experience, caring for children for one to two weeks at a time while their parents traveled. My experience includes working with families in various locations throughout Arizona and California. During these extended stays, I handled the children’s daily routines, meals, transportation, activities, bedtime schedules, and overall well-being while maintaining a safe, loving, and comfortable environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy planning fun, age-appropriate activities that keep children active, curious, and engaged. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, reading, baking, imaginative play, educational games, puzzles, outdoor adventures, trips to the park or library, and exploring local child-friendly attractions. I enjoy learning what each child loves and creating activities around their interests while encouraging creativity, confidence, and meaningful screen-free fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is earning a family’s trust by providing safe, loving, and dependable care. A wonderful nanny protects a child’s physical and emotional well-being, respects the parents’ values, communicates openly, and helps each child feel secure, heard, and encouraged. My goal is for parents to have complete peace of mind while their children feel genuinely loved and cared for.

My experience with special needs children...

My special-needs experience has primarily been caring for children on the autism spectrum. I am patient, compassionate, dependable, and attentive to each child’s individual communication style, sensory needs, routines, and comfort level. I understand that every child is unique, and I work closely with parents to follow their preferred methods of care while creating a safe, calm, and encouraging environment where their child can thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of the greatest compliments I can receive is when children feel so safe, loved, and comfortable with me that they begin to see me as a trusted part of their family—sometimes even affectionately calling me “Auntie”. To me, that reflects a special bond built through patience, consistency, and genuine care, while always respecting the parents’ role and wishes.
