My absolute favorite part being a nanny is the ability to be an integral part of a child's development. The fact that I am with the child for a significant amount of the day makes me realize I largely influence them and can impact their lives. It is a huge responsibility, but also an honor and a privilege.

I have experience in taking care of special needs since I have a younger niece who is under my care and has autism.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have had so many memorable moments as a nanny, but one of my favorites is three days I got to spend with the children. We had 3 days chock full of board games, baking and art. We never had a dull moment. I try to plan meaningful activities with all the kids I am with. The best advice I have been given as a nanny is to keep a nanny bag with lots of options for fun! This was so memorable to me because these children has had some rough spots in life but her Grandma told me the 3 days with me had made such a big difference in them. I love that I helped make a child happy.
