Camila Weber is a drummer/percussionist from Sao Paulo, Brazil. At the age of 20, she became the drummer for the biggest official tribute bands in her city: Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Nirvana, and Guns N' Roses.
In Turkey (2019) she began a new adventure: playing the Cajon.
Camila was selected by the percussionist of the Istanbul/Ankara Presidential Orchestra: Soner Ōzer, to study and play in his projects. Afterwards, she started playing percussion at the official Latin embassy parties/clubs in the capital of Turkey.
Today, newly arrived in America, she has played Cajon with well-known artists on the Houston scene such as: Tweed Smith (WAR band/80s), Diunna Greenleaf (Blues Music Awards Winner/Koko Taylor Award-Tradicional Blues Female), Cris Crochemore + Marcelo Naves (Blues Houston Society Duo Winner) and Keith Vivens (Jazz House of Fame).
