I thank you for this opportunity. I'm Marthalee, however I use Yvonne. I resident in the Bronx. The year of 2007 to 2013 I was the administrator of a private preschool. Undertook all roles of caregiving & educational aspects in children's lives. From the age of 5 months till 6 years. Later on, I found myself engaged with a much higher age group. Helping with tutoring up to the age of 22 & also as a guardian when their parents are away. I counsel children as well. Making them understand, help them solve issues or come on reasonable terms with whatever they have issues with or face in life. Preparation is key. I'm also a qualified masseuse. I try to enhance my skills & knowledge as much as I can. I can adopt quickly to change. Nothing makes me prouder than to see I'm able to make a meaningful contribution to which ever or whomever lives I cross paths with. I'm down to earth, caring, like challenges, enjoy cooking & been 1 with nature

My experience with special needs children...

None . But I believe elderly is as fragile as a special needs child and I really enjoy caring for them. My dad was ill for 3 years, it weakens my heart puts me to tears. but he became my baby. I loved caring him and it made me eger to learn how to do better how to make him comfortable how to lighten up his heart how to make sad feelings and pain blossom into beautiful toughs. So although i have never cared a special child before i no the effort which is needed and the comfort they need and the love they need and i no what it takes to make them aware that they are perfect just as they are and they will be extraordinary and will move mountains by having faith and believing

The most important part about being a nanny...

I don't have one. I'm just lighthearted every time I put a smile on a child's face and do something to broaden their knowledge and make a meaningful contribution to their growth in life
