My experience with special needs children...
I have very extensive experience with infants and children with disabilities ranging from those with very severe disabilities through those with learning disabilities and adhd. At age 14 I began volunteering at the State Hospital and at 22 adopted a 4 year old with Down syndrome. I worked at UNR instructing special education classes for those wanting to be teachers for 7 years and then became an elementary school principal and finally Coordinator of Special Education Programs for WCSD.
