I love reading either with or too children, and having them make up their own stories, I'm very big on imagination. I love going outdoors with children, maybe just going on a walk and talking about whats out there in nature
My experience with special needs children...
I have a lot of experience with special needs children. My brother has autism, so I began to know how to interact with him at a young age. My family has friends that have two children with down syndrome, I have been asked to watch them and do activities with them that peak their interest. Every one of my jobs I have had one on one sessions with children with special needs, either keeping them busy and entertained or helping them calm down when they get too overwhelmed in the setting we are in.
