Hello! My name is Maura, I’m 21 years old and located in Grand Blanc. For the past year I have been an ABA behavioral technician at Centria. This job gave me experience with autistic kids and an opportunity to learn a lot about children as a whole. Working here taught me a lot about how to deal with kids and their big emotions, helping them make decisions, and learning daily living skills. I also worked at an in home daycare that focused on school readiness in kids and teaching them skills they will use in the future. I really enjoy caring for and teaching kids of all ages. I love watching them learn new things and reach their goals.
Some things about me would be I love animals. Always exciting to meet the kid’s favorite pets. I have 3 cats, Ollie, Suki, and BMO. I’ve also recently gotten really into cooking and baking. My favorite thing to make is pumpkin bread.
