My experience with special needs children...
I have extensive experience with special needs children more specifically in the area of Autism and Autism Spectrum/Major Depressive Disorders and Mood Disorders. I work closely with ABA Therapists and Occupational Therapists and utilize therapeutic techniques and de-escalation in crisis situations. I use strength based choices, gentle encouragement, and positive reinforcements as part of my care.
