I’ve cared for my younger brother, who had a feeding tube and multiple medical conditions including heart, lung, and kidney disease. I gained hands on experience with administering medications and managing daily care routines. He is also on the autism spectrum, which has taught me patience, adaptability, and how to support sensory and emotional needs with care and understanding.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was helping a one year old who used to cry anytime he was out of his mother’s sight. Over time, he warmed up to me now he lights up and screams my name when I walk in the door! We’ve built such a fun bond, and I love taking him to the park and on little ice cream trips together.
