More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve had over five years of experience caring for children through church nurseries, children’s ministries, babysitting, and private nannying. These experiences have given me the chance to work with kids of all ages, from infants to preteens, and to build meaningful relationships with both the children and their families.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing activities that keep kids engaged and bring out their creativity. Some of my favorites are reading together, doing arts and crafts, playing outdoors, baking simple recipes, or exploring new places like parks and libraries. I also enjoy helping with homework and finding fun ways to make learning exciting.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, the most important part of being a nanny is building trust and genuine connection. Children thrive when they feel safe, loved, and understood, and I take that responsibility to heart. It’s about being someone who not only cares for their needs but also supports their growth, confidence, and joy every day.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve had the opportunity to work with a child who was high-functioning on the autism spectrum. Through that experience, I learned how important patience, consistency, and understanding are when supporting a child’s unique needs. It taught me how to adapt activities, communicate clearly, and create an environment where the child feels safe, capable, and valued.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was seeing a child I cared for finally master riding a bike after weeks of practice. Watching the excitement and pride on their face, and knowing I played a small part in helping them reach that goal, was incredibly rewarding. Moments like that remind me why I love what I do.
