A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Maya and I am looking for a part time nanny/childcare position around Spokane county. I love kids and I want to contribute to their lives in the most positive, loving, and kind way that I can. I have previously done years of volunteer work in both a therapeutic and childcare setting with children who have special needs. I have been doing short term nanny jobs and babysitting jobs on and off since 2016. I worked a long term nanny job caring for 2 small children and absolutely loved it. I also worked as an activity facilitator at a children’s gym where I led parties and events with up to 20 children and taught a sports class. I assisted classes at the therapeutic horse riding center for children with special needs. I also volunteered at a summer camp and a day care for several summers. I assisted in supervising children, led activities and crafts, and prepared nutritious snacks.

I enjoy taking kids to parks around town, children’s museums and indoor play activities. I also love doing arts and crafts, simple cooking, and any kind of outdoor exploration with the kids I take care of. I set up my previous nanny kids schedule and I took them to a wide variety of classes and activities.
