I’m an English graduate from Rollins College here in Winter Park and I’ve lived and worked with children in both Florida, Indiana, and Canada! Infants and young children are my speciality; I’m passionate about infant/child development and love to help facilitate learning and school help or anything else in your babies routine. I have nannied infants to 4 years old, as well as kids with special needs, and have worked in several school departments with children of a wide array of cultural and learning backgrounds! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Besides direct nannying experience, I’ve also worked in schools as a paraprofessional for special ed. and inclusion as well as for the English Second Language department for over 2 years. Children in my care were ages 3-7. I’ve also volunteered for after school literacy programs where I am also responsible for the care and safety of the children present.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’m huge on hands-on, developmental and motor skill/ sensory activities with infants and young children as well as early and late literacy work! I understand a babies changing needs and skill phases and love setting up crafts, maximum-effort physical and motor skill activities for baby to stay engaged, and I love to read and go on walks or take them to the library!

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve worked in special ed. departments for public schools and have nannied for a family with a 3 y.o. special needs child as well as a 1 year old infant. Handling the care and safety of multiple children with different unique abilities and creating an stress-free environment, effective communication and lots of love is my approach.
