A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Maya Prouse and I’m a student learning online. I have worked at the YMCA in youth sports for over two years. I have a broad knowledge of childcare and used to foster children with my family! I recently moved to Olympia and had to leave my last nanny home where I cared for two toddler twins for 5 months. I am very conversational and active. I love to read, write, and play sports. I enjoy crafting and downtime as well! Feel free to reach out!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I cared for younger children through child watch and toddler gymnastics at the YMCA and for older children through the homeschool P.E. program. I also have a background in babysitting and fostering.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to go to the library, the park, and farms! I enjoy reading and playing games with the children.

My experience with special needs children...

I have many children on the spectrum in my homeschool P.E. classes. We work together to make accommodations if needed and to keep the class at an appropriate volume, as to not overstimulate.
