I started off in college as a childhood education major. During that time I spent a lot of time in the classroom with different teachers completing my practicums. I also spent some time volunteering after school. I’ve always babysat for any friends or family that needed me to. Lastly, for about two years I worked as a teacher assistant here in North Carolina.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy going on adventures with children. Children are so inquisitive and I feel like any outing to a child is an adventure and that’s how I like to treat it. I love going to museums, aquariums and zoos with my kids. I love doing arts and crafts with them. I also enjoy going to the park and running around with them. I used to play golf so I really enjoy introducing that sport to kids because I feel like it’s a little slept on and some kids actually really like it.
