More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked as a bilingual kindergarten teacher for two years in Bastrop ISD, where I cared for and taught young children while supporting their learning, development, and day to day needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
- For infants 0 to 4 months, I enjoy tummy time, stroller walks, reading and singing, sensory play, and activities that encourage visual tracking, reaching, and early movement.
- Around 5 to 8 months, I love incorporating floor play, assisted sitting, reaching and grasping activities, music, books, sensory exploration, and age appropriate toys that encourage rolling, crawling, and hand eye coordination.
- For 9 to 12 months and beyond, I enjoy Montessori inspired play, stacking and sorting toys, object permanence activities, sensory bins, reading, singing, outdoor walks, and activities that encourage fine motor skills, crawling, standing, early language, and independent exploration.
- Most importantly, I love tailoring activities to each child’s age, developmental stage, personality, and interests while making learning feel like play.

The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, the most important part of being a nanny is the trust a family places in you to care for the person they love most. I genuinely love being part of a child’s everyday world, watching them grow, celebrating all the little milestones, and creating a space where they feel safe, loved, and completely themselves. It’s such meaningful work to me, and something I truly find so much joy in.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience supporting children with autism from my time as a bilingual kindergarten teacher. Each year, I had a student with autism in my classroom and worked alongside a special education teacher who joined us each morning for 90 minutes. Together, we supported their individual learning, communication, sensory, and social emotional needs while adapting activities and routines to help them feel comfortable, included, and successful in the classroom.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was attending the preschool graduation of a little one I had cared for since they were just six weeks old. Getting to watch them grow from such a tiny baby into their own little person and celebrate such a special milestone was incredibly meaningful and is still one of my favorite memories as a nanny.

Marry Poppins said it best: "In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You find the fun, and—snap!—the job's a game!" Kids learn best through play, so I try to have fun with everything that I do. Whether it's setting the table for breakfast, getting ready for bed, or anything in between!
And through having fun, I teach children how to play safely, how to identify and express their emotions, how to do things independently (depending on their age), and other things to help them navigate life!
