More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
i have been babysitting since i was 12 years old! in my family i usually babysit my 2 year old brother, 6 year old sister, and 10 year old brother. i also babysit my neighbors and extended family. i’ve babysat up to 5 kids.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
of course it depends on the children and their specific interests... but there is a variety of activities i love to do with the kids. when we are inside, i enjoy drawing, board games, crafts, playing imaginary games, and much more. some of my favorite things to do outdoors with the kids is jumping on the tramp or playing on the playground (if they have one), chalk art, going on mini walks, etc. i also love when kids have games they want to teach me how to play!
The most important part about being a nanny...
i don’t only want to be the kids babysitter, i want to be their friend. i’ve had many sentimental experiences as i’ve gotten closer with kids that i will cherish forever. i want parents to leave their house feeling confident that their kids are being taken care of. my main goal as a nanny is to keep the kids entertained, taken care of, and happy.
My experience with special needs children...
i have been in two peer tutor classes. the first class i was in had calm special needs students that i helped learn new things, the second class i was in was a little more crazy as i got my hair pulled, and had to help calm down kids that would get angry easily. i absolutely adore special needs kids.
