Hello, I'm a Troy resident and have lived here all my life. I've graduated from Troy. I have been taking care of children for over ten years, I've helped with caring for Foster children, Adopted children, nieces and nephews alike when their parents had to work. Their ages started as babies, to toddlers, to young adults, to full adulthood. I am also CPR/ First Aid & AED certified which I recertify every two years. I don't mind doing a little light housework or even starting dinner if need be. However, I like to tell people that I am what you would call " Old School" I come from a time where children showed respect. If there is something they need to express I will listen, however, there is a way to do it. If a meal is planned out already and the child or children do not want what is prepared I will not divert from that menu unless the parents agree and say otherwise (In writing).

Ever since I can remember, I've had a passion to work with children in one way or another, specifically in other countries with non-profit organizations, but I haven't been able to do that yet, so babysitting is my next step for now! I love working with children and spending time with them, so taking care of your child is something I take quite seriously.
I've been babysitting kids since I was about 11 years old. It was and is mostly family, but I do have experience with all ages (most of my cousins are quite younger than me by at least 12 years). I have babysat children from the ages of 2 months and up. I was a VBS Nursery Leader at my old church back in 2013, and about two years before I was a Sparky Leader (at the same church) working with children who were in kindergarten to 2nd grade. I also have experience working with a group of children (up to 15 kids) for several months (June thru August) at Word of Life camps. I watched camp staff children on top of of being in charge of regular campers, too.
At the moment I work part-time at a fast food restaurant, but I am putting my 2 week notice in soon so that I may pursue this as my full-time job.
I am currently not CPR certified, but am planning on getting it very soon (Nov. 16). I also have my own transportation, am a non-smoker, and am completely comfortable around all pets.
