I completed four years of Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework in high school, including five ECE classes, and graduated with my National Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. I have two years of experience working as a Pre-K teacher, along with additional hands-on experience in a daycare setting over the past few months. I have also volunteered with children’s programs through my church. Through these experiences, I’ve gained knowledge of early childhood development, daily routines, age-appropriate activities, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.

I enjoy doing arts and crafts, reading books, singing songs, dancing, playing outside, and doing fun activities that help children learn through play. I especially love finding creative ways to keep toddlers engaged, whether it’s sensory activities, puzzles, pretend play, or simple games that help them develop new skills.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is making sure children feel safe, loved, and cared for. Building trust with both the children and their parents is so important. I want families to feel comfortable knowing their little ones are in good hands, and I want children to feel happy, supported, and encouraged every day.
My experience with special needs children...
I have some hands-on experience working with children with special needs, both through childcare settings and in my personal life. I’ve also babysat my nephew, who is autistic, which has given me a better understanding of the importance of patience, consistency, flexibility, and meeting each child’s individual needs. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, understood, included, and supported.

One of my favorite things about working with children is watching them learn something new and seeing how excited they get when they accomplish something on their own. I love being part of those little milestones and knowing I helped make their day a little more special.
