"Hello! Im here to recommend Meeko as a nanny. During the years I had the pleasure of working with them, they proved to be an exceptional caregiver for both infants and middle school-aged children. Meeko consistently provided a safe and nurturing environment for the infants, ensuring their well-being at all times. Additionally, their ability to connect with and engage the middle school-aged children was truly remarkable. The kids absolutely adored Meeko, and their positive impact on their lives was evident.

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve cared for children on the autism spectrum as well as other neurodivergent children. I believe neurodivergent children are vastly overlooked in this industry. I enjoy working with them because I enjoy finding new ways to teach kids. Everybody has a different experience on how they learn and finding out what works for each kid is a fun experience. Seeing the child light up because they were taught a different way that they’d understand is what really drove me to begin a career in caring for children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My favorite outdoor activities are going for walks and finding each color of the rainbow as we go along. I also enjoy taking the kids to the park and playing freeze tag or hop scotch. I’ve taught children how to ride bikes and roller skate as well as skateboard.
Indoor activities would include sensory bins, hide and seek, or make-believe. Activities for older kids run along the lines of crafts and cooking or board games.
I take a lot of activities I did as a child before I had internet and gaming consoles and tweak it so they fit the situation or age groups. A lot of the activities involve mostly hands on games or small kitchen science experiments such as food coloring, water, oil, and alka-seltzer’s.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the most important aspects of being a nanny is the opportunity to teach kids confidence and help them grow and thrive at home. By providing a nurturing and supportive environment, we can empower children to believe in themselves, try new things, and develop their unique strengths. It's incredibly rewarding to see them blossom into confident individuals who are ready to take on the world. Being a part of their growth journey is truly amazing.
My experience with special needs children...
I have 8 years of experience working with special needs kids, specifically those with autism and ADHD. It's been such a rewarding journey, being able to provide support and care to these incredible children. I've learned so much about their unique needs and how to create an inclusive environment where they can thrive. It's truly fulfilling to make a positive impact in their lives.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The kids' parents gave us permission to create an entire swimming pool of slime for their birthday party. We kept it a secret from the children so we could surprise them with a slime bar for all their friends to scoop up and take home. We had time to make multiple kinds of slime textures. The joy and excitement on their faces when they saw the slime pool was absolutely priceless. It was such a fun experience for the kids and the adults.

Hello! I'm Bri, 21 years old from California, recently moved to San Antonio. Working with children is my passion and it's great doing what I love for my work. I have lots of experience: my first job was at a daycare, I worked at a summer camp, I've babysat for many children, and I previously worked at several different schools as a substitute for the agency ChildCare Careers. I've been working as a Registered Behavior Technician (working with children on the spectrum) but I'm looking for a change of pace. I prioritize having a good relationship with the families I work with and I'm so willing to learn new things.
