A little bit about me

I was a former elementary teacher for 6 years. I taught second grade for three years and third grade for three years. Before teaching, I worked at a daycare for three years, gaining experience with infants and toddlers. Prior to daycare work, I nannied for two children (ages 4 and 6). I am skilled in childhood development, safety, and promoting the well being and growth of children in my care. I currently volunteer in my church nursery, and I also teach a kid’s class for ages 4-6 each Wednesday evening at my church. This past winter, I also nannied for a five year old boy. I picked him up from school, and we did afternoon activities together (museums, library activities, bowling). I love working with children and finding creative ways to help them learn and grow all while having fun!
