Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked in many classrooms (K, 3rd, 4th), and had lots of classroom experience with kids as a part of my degree in elementary education. I also worked at Children's Academy in Cottonwood Heights, working with 2-4 year olds, and elementary school kids during summer camp.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing outside, bubbles are the best! I also love doing arts and crafts, and will come up with so many different ideas to activate their creativity!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part about being a nanny is making sure the kids are being safe and having fun. You can't have fun if you aren't being safe, and making sure the kids are enjoying themselves and aren't bored is so key!
My experience with special needs children...
I currently work with training and research with autistic preschoolers at the ASSERT program on USU campus in Logan, and have done that for the past 6 months.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love going on walks with kids, and one time we had a big group and they counted how many times they could get cars to honk at them! It was adorable.
