I volunteered in the pediatric wing of our hospital all throughout high school and had over 500 hours. I also have nannied all throughout high school and college. I also worked with kids as an EMT.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy taking kids out into nature and finding ways to have fun with enjoying the beauty around us. I love seeing kids conquer hard tasks they don't think they can do. I enjoy taking kids to the park, playing sports with them outside, any active games we can drum up, and I also love having movie nights with kids. I also love reading books, so getting the kids I am watching interested in books is also a happy moment.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a space for the kids you are watching to have a fun and safe place to play and learn. My goal is to make sure every kid I care for is happy and safe.

The only time I have really worked with children with special needs has been when I was an EMT. The kids I have nannied for have not had special needs.

My favorite moments I have experienced during my time nannying has been the bond I have created with the kids and knowing they feel safe with me. I value kids being able to be kids and not have to worry about anything and having them know I will protect them and they can rely on me.
