I spent a month in Poland volunteering in an Orphanage where I was the primary care-giver for a sweet 9 year old girl with Down syndrome. This experience really solidified my passion for taking care of children and widened my perspective in many ways. I am currently a substitute teacher in both general and special education settings in grades 3 to 5. I have spent time in classrooms as a classroom aide, and a 1 on 1 aide for children.
