When I was a teen, I volunteered at a group home for homeless children. After that, I started working at Wellington Academy Preschool in Fort Myers, FL., where I am from. I absolutely LOVED that! So much in fact, that it made me want to have a child of my own. I left that job upon becoming pregnant with my first child, and have had four more children since (in addition to three bonus stepchildren that my husband brought). I love taking care of children.

I love doing anything and everything that stimulates a child's creativity and growth! Reading stories, singing/playing music, swingset fun, hide and seek, play doh, SO much crafting!, taking walks (in appropriate weather of course), make believe play, coloring and painting (depending on age), dressing up, etc. .
