In my youth I played competitive volleyball for 7 years, I got the opportunity to give back to my community and coach volleyball for the YMCA for about a year. My daily tasks consisted of creating a practice outline, relaying info. to parents, providing specialized 1 on 1 coaching, keeping the peace, etc.

I cared for an 11 year old boy with down syndrome off an on as the family needed my assistance as well as caring for other children within the family. I learned in my experiences how to resolve conflict and come up with reasonable solutions as well as communicating those struggles with the children’s parents.
