A little bit about me

Hi! I am a professional nanny with over 11 years of experience in New York City. I have also worked for the Radio City Rockettes and Macy's Santaland in Herald Square, and am the eldest of four siblings- kids' stuff is basically my specialty. I love NYC and have lived here since 2011, and I am always ready for a new round of exploration and fun. I live in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, near the navy yard, and on my days off I love taking long walks to take photos of interesting neighborhoods and finding new coffee shops to try out! I have a sideline as a dramaturg for a show in development that I hope will eventually be produced Off-Broadway, so if your kids are into theater, I know a lot about that too. I have two cats at home (named Koko and Pringles), so I'm fine with pets!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I used to nanny a set of twins, a boy and a girl, and people used to always seem surprised and delighted to see there were two of them after first noticing one child. I would usually joke that I couldn’t take credit for how cute they were if someone assumed I was their mom, but as they got older, they started correcting strangers for me. One time in particular, the little boy frowned and said “But that’s not our mommy. That’s our Megan.” I think for a while they thought Megan was my relationship to them and not my name.
