More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I also worked as a case worker for the program “Healthy Start” where I was a support to mothers and infant children up to age 2 all the way from conception.
I would offer tools, support, and knowledge of pregnancy and children as well as weekly check-ins and house visits to insure safety of the child and a healthy living environment! Myself and other community support staff would team up for monthly meetings where mothers and families would be able to listen to an educational topic relating to their families and children. I enjoyed the community connections I was able to make as well as the trainings my company was able to provide me for supporting the woman and children of my community at the time. Not one family in this world is the same but the ability to adapt and help where you’re needed is a truly a gift I never took for granted in this position and in life as I moved on from the this amazing opportunity!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to play video games if that is allowable in your family! I’m a big fan of getting some fresh air because kids have a natural sense of wonder that is good to nurture.
I love legos and I love doing them with kiddies. Playing is healthy and is something we lose as we age. I enjoy getting to just “play” while the child leads to see a glimpse of who they are and how their brain works!

The most important part about being a nanny...
Connecting with the family and being a good fit as whole! Not only with the child but with the routine and family values. Showing the family and child you are trustworthy and displaying ways to be helpful even when not asked but within reason and boundaries always considered. 😊
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children on various levels of the autism scale and enjoy doing so! I have also worked with non-verbal children ages ranging from 2-15. I know beginner/baby ASL and have made it a goal to learn more. Every child deserves a chance to connect and be heard how they are willing and able to communicate. I am confident in my role to do that for your child no matter the special need. 😊
The most important part about being a nanny...
It’s always an amazing moment when a child shows you they trust you.. some will show with sharing a toy, a smile or a hug! Either way that’s always my favorite to know I’m doing a good job connecting with the child or children I’m

Babysitter Available in Bismarck, ND: Holly W.
Hi, I’m Holly! Caring for others has always been a passion of mine. After high school, I attended Hennepin Technical College in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, where I studied Child Development. I worked in childcare centers as an assistant teacher caring for infants and toddlers.
I then became a stay-at-home mom and had the privilege of raising my six children, now ranging from 28 to 16, including 16-year-old twins. This gave me years of hands-on experience nurturing, teaching, and caring for children while creating a safe and loving environment.
As my children grew, I started a part-time cleaning business, building strong skills in organization, reliability, and attention to detail. I have also worked in long-term care with older adults, strengthening my patience, compassion, and caregiving skills.
I would love the opportunity to bring my experience, warmth, dependability, and genuine love of caring for others to a family as a nanny
