I have 20+ years of experience in child care, including having two of my own kids, now teenagers. Most of my time has been spent with infants & toddlers, but I am comfortable with all ages. I received my bachelor’s degree in English & education, but enjoy children so much that I returned to child care - I love watching them discover new things. I can be silly and love to play age appropriate games, get outside and adventure, take walks, and do art. I am organized, punctual, pay attention to detail, and am a good communicator. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 10+ years of experience as a nanny both in Texas and Jackson, Wyoming. As well, I have raised my own two children, now in the mid-teens. I have cared for infants up to teens, but most of my time has been spent with infants and toddlers. I have several years in education, and am able to assist in tutoring and homework.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I have several memberships throughout town where we can go explore and learn. As well, I love to be outdoors -walking, adventuring, and playing. The arts are important to me, as are playing age appropriate games and being silly.

working closely with parents in providing the best care for their children. It’s important to be a great communicator and open minded to how the parents want to raise their children.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with high functioning autistic children, and children with processing disorders. My own child has an over-active auditory disorder, and processing disorder. I have knowledge about occupational and physical therapy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love when a child is comfortable with me that they run to greet me when I get there, and don’t cry when their parents leave. It’s hard to chose whether I love the quiet moments reading a book and snuggling on the couch or big belly laughs while playing games.
