I was a Lead Peer Teacher at a program called LEADS (Latta Enrichment Activities Deliver Success) from [phone number hidden]. In this program, I cared for school-aged children from pre-K to second grade in an after-school environment. My responsibilities included helping with homework, organizing group activities, monitoring recess, and assisting with peer conflicts.

I absolutely love arts and crafts or anything that helps children exercise their creative side. It is a great way to get children engaged and also serves as a fun lesson in how to clean up afterward.

My favorite nanny moment is when a pre-K student experienced a bathroom accident. I was able to help this student without shame and embarrassment and he later told me at recess, "Megan, you are the best teacher EVER!"
