The most important part about being a nanny...
I am a follower of Christ, so it is important to me that I am with a family just as devoted to Christ. I hope to join a family for the summer and hopefully every summer after.
Another value I have is that I do not take over being the parent, I am merely the in-place caregiver until the parents return. I am there to give lots of tender loving care but stay firm on the things that are not allowed.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I have two favorite memories...
1) Age 2 little girl- we were playing with baby dolls and putting the baby to sleep. I snuck the baby out of the bed and hid her. When the toddler came back to find her missing, she gasped and began searching. I put the baby doll back and the toddler would then come back to find the "baby" asleep and just sit and laugh.
2) While we were watching a show, the 3yo girl I caring for randomly said, "I love you, Ms. Meghan". Filled my heart quite full.
