More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have not worked as a formal teacher, ECE, or nurse, but I have extensive hands-on childcare experience as a nanny. I have cared for children of many ages, including newborns, one-year-old twins, and children with special needs. My experience includes managing daily routines, supporting development, planning activities, and providing attentive, loving care.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I absolutely love spending time outdoors with the kids I nanny for, as it’s a great way to stay active and have fun together. Whether it’s playing tag, riding bikes, or having a scavenger hunt, I enjoy creating games that get everyone moving and exploring. I also like introducing new activities like building forts, playing catch, or having picnics in the park. I believe outdoor play helps kids develop both physically and socially. Being outside also gives us a break from screens, helping everyone to stay engaged and creative while enjoying the fresh air.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with the children and their families. Creating an environment where the kids feel safe, heard, and loved is key. It’s not just about providing care, but also about offering guidance, support, and consistency in their daily routines. I think it’s essential to be patient and adaptable, understanding each child’s unique needs and helping them grow both emotionally and physically.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with developmental and behavioral needs. I am patient, attentive, and able to adapt care to each child’s individual needs while maintaining routines and a safe environment.
