Hello, my name is Melanee Guerra, and I'm nineteen years old. Currently, I'm pursuing my studies at the University of Irvine. Besides academics, I love walking my two pets which I love so much, playing tennis, painting, going for runs and spending time with family. Working with children has always been something I've enjoyed. I have been doing it for the past four years of my life, ensuring that children feel safe and nurtured under my care is my top priority because their safety and happiness is what matters most. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Some prior experience I have is I babysat a wonderful three-year-old girl. From preparing meals to planning engaging activities such as painting, playing outside, or reading books, every moment spent with her was filled with laughter. I've also worked as a camp counselor for the past four summers. The most recent camp I've worked at is taking care of a group of eight kids in an organization for special needs. It was the most rewarding experience and prior to this, I've worked at a summer camp caring for 5 kids ranging from ages 2-5. I love all pets and I'm willing to care for them as well! I've been a cat sitter and pet sitter as well!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some activities I enjoy doing are helping with homework if needed, painting, playing outside, arts and craft, making yummy snacks, playing with toys, reading books, organizing tea parties or playing with monster trucks!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most crucial aspect of being a nanny for me is ensuring that the children feel safe, cared for, and happy in my presence. Building a bond where they feel comfortable and at ease is important. Being attentive to the unique needs and interests of each child is my top priotity!

My experience with special needs children...

I've worked as a camp counselor at a camp for children with special needs. I would create lessons and activities to keep them entertained. We would also build friendship bracelets and do painting activities. I was responsible for a group of 12 kids ages 2–15. It was a wonderful experience!

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my most cherished nanny moments occurred when I was babysitting an eight-year-old girl. She had been struggling to learn how to ride her bike for quite some time. We dedicated ourselves to practicing together about three times a week, and after persistence and patience, she finally succeeded in riding her bike. Witnessing her joy and excitement as she pedaled around the park every day filled me with happiness. Seeing her smile was truly rewarding and remains a cherished memory for me.
