I am 25 years old with extensive experience in childcare ages 0-17 years of age. I am passionate about my gentle parenting childcare approach. I take pride in creating a safe and enriching environment for children. This passion comes from my deep connection with children and animals. I am autistic and this work fills my soul with happiness. I love to teach and watch their firsts. I want to help children understand their emotions and only ever see relevant consequences to their actions. I have read countless books on language acquisition, motor functioning enrichment and behavioral analysis. I am experienced in baby led weening. I am very creative with activities. The role of facilitating a families life to be so fulfilling. I currently nanny full time Mon-Thur. My final day is May 16th. I have volunteered in my local library since I was 15, assisting with guest speaking events and child mentoring.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy reading, teaching, and creating enriching games with children. Things like puzzles, sensory games, and time outside for smaller children. I like activities like jorunaling, homework discussion, and board games with older children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Children are mirrors, every time im faced with a problem like tantrums or deregulation, it is a moment where I must look inward. When you are struggling with a child regulating their emotions its usually because you aren’t regulating yours enough. Or you aren’t taking a step back and reflecting before you respond. Children have taught me how to be the best human I can be.

My experience with special needs children...

I am autistic myself, I am passionate about autistic development and ASD advocacy. I do not have experience with other special needs but I would say I have extensive compassion and openess to all disabilities and the insight I have of my own experience. (I do not require accommodation and my autism is not apparent at all)
