More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am the current Sunday School director at my church alongside the Preschool class teacher. And have volunteered at my church’s VBS every year since I was in sixth grade!
I was a swim instructor at Aqua-Tots for a year and a half and have experienced with ages from 4 months-12 years. I also worked at my local gyms Kids Club Center and have experience with all ages there. I have extensive experience with working with children with special needs. In my Sunday School classes I have several children with disabilities, and during my time at aqua-tots as a SNAP certified instructor, I was one the instructors who specialized with working with children with special needs.
I have been nannying during the school year and summers for almost 7 years now and am comfortable with doing chores such as light housework, laundry, and other miscellaneous tasks.

As a creative person I love dancing, singing, drawing, and writing activities. I also value spending time outside by going on walks, parks, and playing sports. As an avid baker I love to do baking nights with kids that always bring a big smile on everyone's faces. And I am a huge bookworm and love going to libraries and doing reading time!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is nurturing growth! As someone who deeply values education, I take it very personally when I'm nannying to make sure that I'm helping the children learn and become more independent. Seeing the growth the children make from when I start as a nanny to our last day is what motivates me to keep going.
My experience with special needs children...
I have over 3 years of experience working with children with special needs. In my Sunday School classes I regularly taught our special needs class. And when I was a swim instructor, I was one of four instructor who trained and specialized working with children with special needs.
