Hi, my name is Melisa and I am a recent University of California, Merced graduate with a BA in Psychology and Spanish and a minor in Sociology. I have experience babysitting children as young as 6 months old and this previous year I worked at an elementary school near Merced, CA with children from Transitioning Kindergarten age to 8th grade. I have two younger sisters whom I grew up taking care of, one of which is only 6 years old so I have become an essential part of her growth and development. I love working with children, reading, doing arts and crafts and other fun activities. I consider myself to be very creative, patient, adaptable, and responsible. I am a native Spanish speaker as well! Not only do I have experience with children, but also caring for the elderly, and I have a beautiful tuxedo kitten named Lilo.
