A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Melissa Loar, I moved here a year ago from a Chicago and was a Pastry Chef at a few fine dining restaurants. I have always had a passion working with kids. Since I’ve lived in San Francisco I worked at a small Cafe in Noe Valley. It’s a very close neighborhood and I ended up meeting a lot of families with kids and would often do babysitting for a few families.

I grew up with a large family of 3 sisters. I was the second oldest so watching my siblings was a huge responsibility of mine growing up. I would also do a lot of babysitting for neighbors as well in High school. I also worked with younger groups of kids in high school for different events and groups.

I’m currently 26 and I live in Glen Park with my sister and husband. I’m looking for a full time nannying job and have experience working with a wide age range. I am a hard worker, caring, responsible and love to have some fun.
